Are Americans changing attitudes about energy affecting their vehicle buying decisions? How do Americans today feel about diesel and its impact on the environment?
Join the Diesel Technology Forum (DTF) for an eye-opening Webinar discussion about the revolution beginning on America's roadways. Researchers will share new polling data demonstrating that Americans are more likely to purchase fuel efficient vehicles than ever before - but their reasons may surprise you. They will also share new data revealing the dramatic difference clean diesel vehicles are making for drivers, business and communities across the nation.

WHO
Leading public opinion pollster, Hal Quinley from Yankelovich/TSC, will discuss the findings of a new survey of American consumers, with an oversample of California consumers, fielded July 14-21.
Automotive analyst, Kevin McMahon from the Martec Group, will share new research findings that help quantify the economic and environmental benefits of new clean diesel vehicles. For instance, the study found that replacing just 15 percent of the U.S. fleet with diesel-powered vehicles would save 17 billion gallons of fuel and reduce CO2 emissions by 190 million tons over the vehicles’ lifetime.
In addition to Quinley and McMahon, representatives from several automotive companies will be available to discuss their new lineup of 50-state compliant diesel vehicles.

WHY
In the next year, more than a dozen new clean diesel cars & trucks will be available to consumers offering up to 40 percent better fuel economy and approximately 20 percent less CO2 emissions than their gasoline counterparts.
