Interested in fueling your fleet on a biodiesel blend?

Come learn from fleet managers who have experience operating their fleet on biodiesel!

This FREE program will cover the basics as well as delve deep into the myriad benefits and potential adverse effects of fueling your fleet on a biodiesel blend.  All attendees will receive a copy of the Biodiesel Handling and Use Guidelines booklet published by the U.S. Department of Energy's Office of Energy Efficiency.

This program is funded by the Ohio Soybean Council and is coordinated by Clean Fuels Ohio and EarthDay Coalition's Clean Transportation Program.

The intended audience is fleet managers and others who have basic knowledge about biodiesel and are interested in implementing this renewable fuel into their fleet operations.

During this  program, attendees will hear from two or three experienced Northeast Ohio Fleet Managers who will discuss their history of utilizing biodiesel.  Fleet Managers will discuss issues such as:

- number and type of vehicles & engines in fleet
- blend levels including initial blend and any seasonal variations
- costs and efforts to attempt to manage costs
- use of grants and incentive programs
- fuel and equipment management strategies including gelling, tank cleaning, filter plugging & cold flow management
- sourcing of blended fuel and their supplier’s approach to ensure quality sourcing
- impacts to vehicle maintenance and fuel economy

The primary objective of this program is to elicit questions from attendees based on the premise that Fleet Managers learn best from their peers.  So, please come with questions in mind!
